About Fruzey
We have been freezing Egyptian fruit and vegetables since 2011. For most of that time our product left the country in someone else's carton, under someone else's brand, sold on to markets we never dealt with directly.
Fruzey is that operation stepping out under its own name. Same lines, same growers, same people, now selling directly and taking on international buyers ourselves. If you have bought Egyptian frozen fruit in the last decade, there is a fair chance you have already had ours.
Freezing Technology
Not every order needs the same method. Tell us how you use the product and we will freeze it accordingly.
Each piece is frozen separately, so the product stays loose in the carton and keeps its shape and colour.
Best for retail packs, food service, smoothies and bakery.
The product is frozen in bulk. More cost-effective on larger volumes, and a good fit when the product will be processed after thawing.
Best for jams, juices, purées, sauces, ready meals, dairy and ice cream.
Product Range
Every line is available whole, cut, diced or as purée, in bulk 10 kg cartons or retail packs under your own label. Grades and calibres below are our standard offer, send us your spec sheet and we will quote against it.
Nile Delta fruit, hulled and frozen at peak Brix. Deep red through the core, the reason Egyptian strawberry dominates the industrial freezing trade.
Zebda and Keitt, hand-graded for ripeness before dicing. Fibre-free cheeks for smoothie and dairy applications; chunks for bakery and food service.
Peeled, washed, lightly blanched and individually frozen, uniform creamy-white cloves with the aroma intact. Removes the most labour-intensive step from your line.
Size-graded, blanched, then frozen fast to hold the snap and the colour. Whole, cut or French-style.
Florets cut to size, blanched and individually frozen to keep the stem firm and the green deep. A staple line for ready meals, vegetable blends and food service.
Egyptian potatoes, cut, blanched and frozen ready for the fryer. Straight or crinkle cut, in food service or retail packs.
Built to your ratio, not ours. Peas, carrot dice, green beans, sweetcorn, broccoli, okra, artichoke and molokhia in any combination, one SKU, one carton, no blending on your side.
Inside the Line
The sizer splits the flow into grades before freezing, so every carton matches one calibre rather than an average. This is the difference between a spec and an approximation.
Availability
We hold frozen stock rather than chasing the season. Plan your deliveries around your production schedule, not our harvest calendar.
Cold store means your order is not tied to a harvest window. Tell us when you need the container and we confirm availability.
On annual contract volumes we fix pricing up front, so you are not exposed to spot market swings.
Combine several of our lines in one reefer, no need to order a full container of each item separately.

Phytosanitary, certificate of origin, health certificate, EUR.1 where applicable, prepared before the container sails, not chased after it lands.
Farm to Freezer
Picked at peak ripeness by contracted Delta growers, into shallow crates to avoid crush damage. Field heat removed within the hour.
Optical and hand sorting for colour, calibre and defects. Peeled, hulled or trimmed as the line requires, washed in chilled potable water, then blanched where the product needs it.
The sizer splits the flow into Small, Medium and Large before anything is frozen, so each carton holds one calibre instead of an average.
IQF where the product needs to stay loose, or blast freezing in bulk where individual pieces are not needed.
Food-grade PE liner in 10 kg master cartons, palletised or floor-loaded. Roughly 24–26 MT per 40' reefer from Alexandria or Damietta.
